Youth Development

(YES – Young Empowered Society)

Pakistan has one of the world’s youngest populations, with nearly 64% under the age of 30. Yet, millions of youth remain out of school, under-skilled, and disconnected from constructive pathways.

SSF’s Youth Development pillar (YES) nurtures future changemakers by providing quality learning, leadership opportunities, and community engagement platforms.

In collaboration with NGI Consulting, SSF supports out-of-school children (OOSC) facilities like those run by Friends Welfare Trust Hospital and I Feel Organization in Islamabad.

The Problem
  • 22 million children in Pakistan are out of school (UNICEF, 2023).
  • Youth lack structured platforms for leadership, civic responsibility, and future skills.
  • Limited focus on grooming young people for innovation and sustainable development.
The Solution
  • Provide safe, quality learning facilities for OOSC through indoor and outdoor activities.
  • Develop youth leadership and civic engagement programs linked to SDGs.
  • Partner with NGI to design future-ready training modules.
  • Create pathways for youth to become social innovators and changemakers.

Our Mission

To prepare young people as leaders, innovators, and responsible citizens who will shape Pakistan’s future.
