Our Strategic Pillars
Our Strategic Pillars
Women Development
(WELSA CENTER)
WELSA (Women Entrepreneurship, Leadership & Skills Advancement) Center advances inclusive development by training women—nearly half of Pakistan’s population—in entrepreneurship, leadership, and practical skills. These programs equip women to drive social impact, strengthen economic growth, and contribute to long-term national prosperity. WELSA’s signature training program, Samajhdar Maan aur Gharana (Smart Moms & Families), lies at the heart of this mission.
Samajhdar Maan Aur Gharana
(Smart Moms & Families)
The Samajhdar Maan aur Ghrana program is an 8-week evidence-informed training program designed to empower mothers with essential life skills in parenting, health, nutrition, financial literacy, hygiene, and emotional well-being. Through dedicated engagement sessions with male family members, the program creates a ripple effect of family-wide support, healthier behaviors, stronger relationships, and lasting community impact.
Environment
(CleAir)
Article 9 of Pakistan’s Constitution guarantees the right to life, which inherently includes the right to a clean and healthy environment. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 12, 13, and 15) further remind us that climate action is everyone’s responsibility.

98.8. That's not a temperature. It's Faisalabad's air quality reading. Faisalabad recorded a PM2.5 level of 98.8 µg/m³ in 2025, nearly 20 times the WHO's safe limit, and toxic air is now linked to nearly 22,000 deaths across Pakistan every year. This isn't a distant, abstract crisis. It's the air moving through our children's lungs right now. Small, local actions, planting trees, reducing open burning, raising awareness, add up when a community commits to them together. 38% of Pakistan is poor in ways a paycheck alone can't fix. Pakistan's extreme poverty rate reached 16.5% in 2025, while nearly 38.3% of the population is considered multidimensionally poor, deprived across health, education and living standards, not income alone. Insaniyat exists to meet people at their point of greatest need, through medical camps, relief efforts, and solidarity that doesn't wait for a headline.
