Our Strategic Pillars
Our Strategic Pillars
Women Development
(WELSA CENTER)
WELSA (Women Entrepreneurship, Leadership & Skills Advancement) Center advances inclusive development by training women—nearly half of Pakistan’s population—in entrepreneurship, leadership, and practical skills. These programs equip women to drive social impact, strengthen economic growth, and contribute to long-term national prosperity. WELSA’s signature training program, Samajhdar Maan aur Gharana (Smart Moms & Families), lies at the heart of this mission.
Samajhdar Maan Aur Gharana
(Smart Moms & Families)
The Samajhdar Maan aur Ghrana program is an 8-week evidence-informed training program designed to empower mothers with essential life skills in parenting, health, nutrition, financial literacy, hygiene, and emotional well-being. Through dedicated engagement sessions with male family members, the program creates a ripple effect of family-wide support, healthier behaviors, stronger relationships, and lasting community impact.
Environment
(CleAir)
Article 9 of Pakistan’s Constitution guarantees the right to life, which inherently includes the right to a clean and healthy environment. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 12, 13, and 15) further remind us that climate action is everyone’s responsibility.

Media Updates
By age 4, some children have heard tens of millions more words than others. A landmark study by researchers Hart and Risley found that children raised in talk-rich homes entered kindergarten with dramatically stronger vocabularies than children who heard far less spoken language, and that early gap kept predicting reading skill years later. The takeaway isn't about flashcards or fancy toys. It's narrating daily life, asking questions, and reading aloud, starting from infancy.
