Environment (CleAir)

“Pollution” is a pressing global issue affecting millions of people and the environment. Emissions from industrial activities, transportation, and agricultural practices release pollutants into the atmosphere, leading to deteriorating air quality and a range of health problems, including respiratory diseases and cardiovascular issues.

Our mission is to educate citizens to contribute significantly to the improvement of air quality, not only in Pakistan but also on a global scale. We advocate that collective efforts and individual commitments are essential for building a sustainable and healthy environment for current and future generations.

The Problem

Like rest of the globe, Pakistan also faces severe challenges related to urban air quality. Rapid urbanization, outdated industrial practices, and a surge in vehicular traffic have resulted in elevated levels of air pollution in major cities such as Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad. Moreover Pakistan. While it’s true that some countries contribute more to global pollution due to industrial activities and emissions, yet local pollution, such as traffic, industrial emissions, and waste, has significantly impacted the air and water quality in Pakistan.

The Solution

Pakistan needs to strengthen and enforce environmental policies. Implementing emission control measures for industries, promoting public transportation, and investing in green spaces within urban areas can significantly improve air quality. A national shift towards sustainable energy sources is crucial and demands the governments and industries to invest in renewable energy technologies and to promote energy efficiency.

Our Mission

We dedicate ourselves to build and sustain a peaceful, progressive, inclusive, and conscientious society by empowering individuals through education, values, and skills, upholding the principles of responsibility, equity and humanity.
