Youth Engaged in service
The Problem
One of our bitter societal realities is that we either underestimate or underutilize the transformative ability of young people. In this hyper-controlled matrix, psychological conditioning has become a tool to control the perceptional realities of the young people. Social media is rapidly creating disconnected or distanced human connections, resulting in the lack of empathy, compassion, and social responsibility. In this scenario, if we fail to channelize the energy of the youth to uplift our society, this demographic dividend will only turn into a demographic debt. This very concern is the main driver behind this program.
The Solution
The problem stated above is the main driver behind this program. YES involves the youth in purpose oriented activities to instil a sense of individual social responsibility as well as to hone them for leadership roles in future. The second driver behind YES project is the desire to protect the constitutional foundation of our nation. The other drivers being a focus on Sustainable Development goals (SDGs), and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI).
