Kausar – A Moment of Self-Realization That Saved Her Marriage

From Cohort 7: Samajhdar Maan aur Ghrana Program, Jan 2026

Kausar holds a Master’s degree, her husband works in the Education Department, and she belongs to a well-educated family. Yet misunderstandings and conflicts with her in-laws led her to leave her husband’s home and return to her parents’ house with her two children. Over time, the separation took a heavy toll on her mental peace and emotional well-being. Seeing her health decline, her brother advised her to enroll in the SMG program running in their area. Hoping to find a way forward, Kausar joined the sessions. The impact was profound and eye-opening. Within the first two to three weeks, she experienced a deep self-realization. The trainers’ lessons helped her see that she had lacked patience during the conflict, which led her to leave home in anger. The center’s guidance on managing domestic life changed her perspective completely. With this new maturity, Kausar decided to make amends. Instead of letting anger control her life, she took the initiative to reconcile with her husband and family. Her home was saved. She has returned to her husband’s house and they now live together peacefully. Kausar expressed her deepest gratitude to Ma’am Dr. Shagufta Jabeen and the team for bringing this vital program to their village and saving countless families from falling apart.
