Naheeda – Education First, Marriage Later

Naheeda shared that in her family and community there was a common tendency to worry about a girl’s marriage at an early age without giving much thought to her education. She and her husband also intended to marry their daughter off early, but then her husband attended the “Ghrana Session.” Through the SMG program, they came to deeply understand the importance of giving a girl a quality education and proper upbringing first, so that she can mature physically and mentally and handle future responsibilities. This guidance changed their mindset completely, and they decided to first give their daughter a higher education and help her become an enlightened, independent woman before considering marriage. Their awareness of education has brought a positive shift across their entire family, where people now focus strongly on their daughters’ schooling and personal growth.
